Secure Collections History

Secure Collections was founded by Alan Richardson and Bernie Brown in 2003. The combination of Alan's 30 years banking experience and Bernie's strong technical skills has allowed the business to grow from a Bureau that in 2003 processed a few thousand transactions to 2016 when we submitted over 13 million direct debits.
Our main focus is always customer service. We have very skilled, trustworthy, personable staff who all previously worked for major high street banks. This combined with a very low staff turnover allows us to build effective relationships with our clients.
We also own a software development company which means our internal systems are extremely efficient, allowing us to keep our transaction costs well below the industry standard. In addition we can develop bespoke applications to suit anything our customers require. These include applications such as Scottish Power's HomeComfort portal and recently a Staff Social Club system for the NHS Trust  (Newcastle Hospitals) which provides event, lottery management and payment via payroll deductions and direct debits.
