Charities

Charities two main revenue streams are regular giving donations and lottery.  Secure Collections first ever charity client was Great North Air Ambulance, closely followed by St. Oswald’s, Newcastle. Since then we have acquired in excess of seventy charities that benefit from our discounted direct debit charity rate.

Many charities have taken advantage of our bank approved; web based direct debit sign-up screens, to acquire new customers. This customer information feeds automatically into Secure Collections direct debit bureau and automated export files, import into charity applications such as Sterling, Razor and Donorflex.

Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) utilise our web based, credit card sign up option in addition to standard direct debit payment options.

We are registered with and comply with the requirements of the Fundraising Regulator 

Utilities

Secure Collections provided a fully managed, direct debit bureau service for Scottish Power’s HomeComfort Product for five years. In addition to direct debit processing we generated all the associated fulfillment letters and managed the direct debit amendments, cancellations and unpaids.  

Scottish Power telesales agents utilised Secure Collections direct debit web portal for new sales and amendments and we developed bespoke software to interface with four different suppliers who provided the Homecomfort boiler repair/servicing to the end customer.

Clubs

Leisure, gymnastic and golf clubs collect subscriptions through our direct debit bureau. Clients include Newcastle Gymnastics and Romanby Golf and Country Club. Secure Collections provides the direct debit sign up for Clubdraw, a lottery site for football, cricket and rugby clubs.

Accountants

Accountants, who provide payroll bureau services to their clients, utilise Secure Collections to pay the wages and purchase ledger payments using BACS credit distribution. 

Property Management

Collecting fixed and variable rents by direct debit is important to cash flow. IG Property Services Ltd and Baskeys are two of our property management clients who benefit from our direct debit bureau services. 

Local Authorities

Local Authorities typically process large volumes of direct debits in-house with their own software. Unfortunately, things can go wrong, loss of Internet connectivity, software/hardware failure, loss of BACS signing cards are typical failure scenarios. We provide contingency services to a number of local authority clients.

Dentists

Many dentists have patient plan systems which require regular collections via direct debit. Secure Collections has developed a web portal and processes direct debits for ‘My Dental Plan’ a service which collects direct debits on behalf of multiple dental practices.
